Another Event for April - A Tour of St Marys Stadium Home of the Saints led by Chris Panayi
Chris has booked a stadium tour for 9th April 2026 at 11am. There is space for 10 people at a cost of £20 per head. Details are on the Social Events Page and it can be booked on the Events booking Page in the Members Area.
An event for May - A guided tour of Lymington Salt Marshes led by Dave Bramley on Thursday 28th May 2026
Aimee Durnell, who gave a talk Secret Lymington last year, is going to host this tour with her husband Pete who manages the marshes. It will explain how the marshes have evolved and tell us a lot about the ecology including the rich and varied bird life. January 22nd 2026 Skittle Evening led by Chris Panayi

February 19th 2026 John Gribble led our Visit to the Royal Signals at Blandford
A visit which told us about the importance of communications on the battlefield from Roman times through to the present day, A fascinating museum with lots of exhibits. A report with pictures will shortly be put up on Past Events
Our February Talk was by Sir David Durie ex Governor of Gibraltar
Sir David gave us a complete history of Gibraltar since 1705 including the politics, the strategic importance of the rock in many conflicts where it provided much needed shelter for the british fleet.
