John Wingham has arranged a London Trip to the Churchill War Rooms in Whitehall followed by an afternoon trip or free time so we can have a full day in London.

Train to Waterloo at 0840 train arriving 1024 .
£32.10 for advance open return ticket purchased with Senior Rail card (as 5 March 2024)
Churchill Rooms Visit Arrive approx. 11.00 am expect 2 hour duration
We will pre book group to avoid queues. All tickets are non-transferable £30.00 Self guided audio tour
Pub lunch possibly “The Two Chairman” (Off Birdcage Walk)
Afternoon free time or visit to Battersea Power Station the new shopping and leisure complex where there is a chargeable exhibition about the site and lift trip (Lift 109) to the top of one the chimneys. Lift Tickets approx £15.
Meet Waterloo for return time TBA (No time restriction on advance tickets purchased with Senior Rail card).
PRICE £30 per person for group entry to the War Rooms tickets only.
Members are responsible for transport and other costs on the day
