Highgrove 11th May 2023 led by Bruce Tindell

This visit was a follow up visit to last year when limited numbers meant some were disappointed not to go and others were keen to return to see the wild flower meadow in bloom. The wild meadows were full of buttercups, camissia and dandelions but not all flowers had appeared due to the late spring. The predicted rain did not happen and so it was a fine day for the visit. The gardens were splendid and the guide informative. The cream teas were yummy and it was a very pleasant outing. Due to the restrictions on photography in the gardens I have included a picture of the elephants that I took last year at the entrance to remind people of the venue.
