Thorold Masefield gave us a personal view on the changes that Global Warming would have on the World. Starting with of the climatic development and the ensuing events he noted that many changes could be considered part of an evolutionary process rather than a step change. Armed with many facts, especially those of recent history, he postulated that the future would potentially also be evolutionary.

Applying his thoughts to such issues as water shortages and population migration his talk painted a perhaps more positive future than some others are predicting.
