The hot summer gave us a perfect day for croquet. We started at the Checkers Inn for a preordered lunch. The Checkers do serve nice food with ample portions.  After lunch we gather at the park to be instructed in the finer arts of Croquet. Teams of 2 were drawn from a hat and battle commenced. Two sets of 4 teams played each other and the  the winners played off to see who would be this year's champions. Due to a problem with the sun Keith was unable to play and so as per last year Dave Bramley became a team of two. The play off was between Tracy Gribble and Richard Burt and Bruce Tindell and Denise Bramley. In a close fought contest Tracy and Richard emerged as champions.
